You all are inspiring and wonderful.
Yesterday, was awesome.
It was the first fathers day in FIVE YEARS that we have got to spend with my dad!
He is in the military and always seems to have training on that weekend.
Which sucks.
I had decided to go to this one church yesterday.
When I got to church I was like, OH YEAH! It's fathers day!
So.
I texted my dad (note: I am not an advocate of texting in church) because my mom said he'd be going home that weekend. So I texted him hoping he would drive through the town I live in.
When I texted him, he told me he was fifteen minutes away from my town! So I called him (after leaving the sanctuary) and he came and picked me up.
I got him a card that read, "Dad, you're like a father to me." and on the inside it said, "Seriously, I mean that."
And he laughed SO HARD.
We have the same sense of humor. It was great.
Then we went and picked up my brother and mom and headed down to Springfield.
We started out at Red Robins. (which is not as good as it used to be and is SUPER expensive.)
Then.
We went to TJ Maxx, and I found the most perfect and lovely swimming suit ever!
It is very 1920's looking with a skirt and bow and stripes and it's red and white! It's so cute and exactly what I have been wanting and it was a one piece and only 25 dollars and it said that it was a size 8 but it is an incredibly small size 8 because it fits me like a dream!
Whew. I typed that all in one breath! :D
Then.
We went to Bass Pro Shop where I found MORE things for California! (MY VACATION!!!)
And then we adventured around.
I also found out that my mother likes coffee now.
Like the really sweet frappe stuff! :D
She is all grown up!
My mom has never liked coffee.
Then we went to Best Buy because that was my brother's request.
Well he went and looked at his thing, and I looked at the prepay phones cause mine was... just sad.
There were SALES!
My brother, being the sweet human that he is, bought me a new phone. Just because he wanted to.
Isn't he sweet?!
I have such a good brother.
So I now own a real smart phone!
The guy who was selling it to us was all, "If it makes you feel better I was 18 before I got my first real smart phone."
And I just quietly responded, "22." and he was like, "YOU'RE TWENTY TWO!?"
Yeah.
I get that a lot.
Then we went home.
And I have been at work since 6 a.m.
I am going nuts.
OH!
And I caught another bird!
It was chirping really close to me.
So I go exploring and there it was in the middle of the floor.
So I tried to guide it to the doors, but it wedges itself under this gate thing around the cafe.
Well the gate thing was open, so I grabbed a sweat shirt from lost and found and went back and caught the thing. (I decided against using my hands this time.)
I will post a picture next time.
I am on a work computer right now.
So see.
It is confirmed.
I am a Disney Princess!
