Like actually can't eat food sick.
Which means I have no cute stories to tell about the classroom I am in... I did teach dance, and I just LOVE my little dancers. But I only had two older students who, so no sassy stories either.
Pretty much I have been boring for the past few days.
But last night.
Something adventurous happened.
I was snap chatting (yes, I am ashamed to say that I do snap chat on occasion...) because I got this random snap from this guy I barely know. And it was about a date thing.
Actually truth is, I think he got me confused with another girl about this deal they had about a date and a kiss. And I told him if he wanted a kiss he would have to take me on a really nice date.
Well he said he didn't feel like going out but movies were always an option.
Well I responded explaining how I was running a fever and was really sick and had been for like 3 days. He basically said that we could post pone it, otherwise he has a strong immune system and not to worry about it.
Now imagine, scrawny tiny little me, in sweat pants (not hard to imagine... I was introduced to the wonders of sweat pants last year and have become very fond of them) and an oversized sweat shirt huddled under two heavy blankets in my bed. I was COLD. And I probably looked like crap too.
I even told him this, and he goes, "That's okay."
And so I layed out some boundaries for him and he agreed. And I crawled out of bed and found the nearest roommate and asked, "How crappy do I look?" And she says, "Not crappy... just sick." So he came and picked me up.
It was adorable, he even opened my car door for me. And we got frosty's and watched a movie and the pilot of Psych.
Because Psych is awesome.
And he was running hot, and ended up opening up a window behind us, which was cold. He was sweet and asked, "Do you want a blanket?" And I go, "No. It's fine." and he does that annoyingly sweet thing that all guys do and says, "Okay, you want the blanket." And got up and got the blanket.
'twas a fluffy blanket!!!
And.
Yeah.
It was a sweet date, even if we were both out of it.
I told two of my friends and they go, "D'awww... that is actually a super adorable date!"
GREAT first impression right?
Haha.
But I guess my outfits can only get cuter from here... if we go on another date. I kinda want to... just to give him a chance and to get to know him better.
He isn't the male-whom-I-am-fond-of... but I think that ship has sailed. Unfortunately.
So now I am testing the waters and going on more dates.
Oh and no.
I didn't kiss him... just in case you were wondering. And you know the nice thing? He didn't push it, he respected my wishes and it was nice.
So yeah.
Sick date. :)
