Is talk about what is truly bothering me.
It seems so easy right?!
Just say exactly what is pestering your minds.
But for me writing so much on here.
(Granted it is filtered to want I want to share)
It is actually very difficult for me to share what I am truly thinking.
If you have a similar problem... you understand.
If you don't have this problem let me share a few things that makes it feel like a problem. (This is not all the reasons but just a few)
-You don't want to seem whiny or needy
-You like helping others.
-You have been burned too many times and are cautious
-You don't want to seem needy
-You don't want to be a bother
-You don't want to be a worry.
-You don't want to seem like an emotional wreck. Even if that is how you are feeling.
With that being said.
This thinking is wrong.
Wrong I tell you.
And it is really hard to open up.
And it hurts to open up
And it is TERRIFYING to open up.
But you know what?
Find the right person who will listen.
Who will help you dig through those feelings..
And you will be okay.
You don't have to be lost
You don't have to feel locked up.
It will take time.
Just be honest.
It's a nice feeling, albeit a scary one, when you realize you don't have to squelch everything inside you.
Don't let it control you.
But you don't have to contain it and wait for those days for those days you wanna hide in your closet curled in a blanket so that no one has to endure the runoff of your squelched emotions. Because
a) That's no fun
b) That's not healthy.
So all this to say.
Learn to trust your friends.
And friend I am beginning to trust more. Thank you for listening... I appreciate you more than I will ever eloquently will be able to express. So thank you Goob.
