Looking out a window watching the snow fall.
It's a really pretty kind of snow.
It's not too fluffy, but it is also not super small.
Some are lazy about falling
While others just drop as fast as they can.
My favorite part is when the wind blows across this one rooftop
The snow steams out from the roof in a swirling symphony of white
The light glistens off the falling diamonds
And it just takes your breath away.
Oh the way the snow swirls in that moment.
It's one of those moments that you wish could last forever.
The stillness of the snowfall.
The quiet of the night
The coziness of a blanket.
The way my pup is snuggled in.
It's just one of those magical nights.
It started out with a lot of thinking.
Then a lot of praying.
Now just a nice sense of peace.
Do I have my life figured out?
Pfft. No.
Do I even have what I was thinking about figured out?
PFFT NO!
No.
But I do have this time with God.
This time to prepare myself to go back to school.
This time to just BREATHE
This time to wait and just be quiet.
This time to let my brain just go calm.
To not think.
Thinkering is great and all.
But sometimes.
peace and silence...
That is what really needs to be happening.
To just let the stillness of winter take over for a time.
You know.
I can scientifically tell you WHY it gets so still in winter.
But where is the magic in knowing?
All you need to know is that God made the snow....
And he made it breathtakingly beautiful.
Boy.
He sure knows how to spoil his children with the most beautiful things while we are on this Earth.
His creation takes my breath away.
Yes...
He sure does know how to spoil his children.
And if you are sitting there wondering about God's children...
If you have accepted Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior... Then YOU are a child of God. He adopts us.
So.
I am for REALSIES going to go to sleep now.
I mean.
I might watch the snow a little longer,
But THEN I need to sleep cause tomorrow is going to be a bit long.
