My hammock swaying in the wind, the rhythm soothing my thoughts and the fact I am writing up tests.
Below me I hear sounds of battle.
It was a raging battle. One that chilled my bones.
Ogres and Trolls were climbing the hill to the castle I live in.
Dragons flitted through the sky, emerging from the clouds.
Fear strangled my heart.
Alas! Below me I heard the brave cry of a young knight.
His sword flashing though the air, metallic clinking swirled through the air. He braved trolls and ogres, all while dodging the charring breath of the dragons from above.
He spun and stabbed an ogre then bounded over it as he dodge the club of a troll, and managed to disarm it all at the same time. Then off he ran.
What was I to do?! I was in my tower! The monsters still lurking on the hill, ready to conquer the land I live on. The air seemed to still with anticipation of what would happen next. The trolls were cheering loudly of victory. The ogres did a gruesome dance and the dragons flapped their thing wings with joy, causing raging wind to blow in my hair and my hammock shuddered.
Luckily the brave young knight came running back, arm full of many different weapons to fend off the fearsome beasts that threatened his land! The beasts looked disappointed and yelled with rage. They lunged toward the brave young man. It was a long battle. The ogres seemed to never end and the number of trolls was appalling.
The young knight pulled out his bow and arrow and scared off the dragons. They flew off, their large spikey tails between their trunk-like legs. The ogres fled in fright as the young knight took a step forward with his broadsword in his hands, just challenging them to try and fight him.
With that the battle was over.
He waved at me and scurried off, to reward himself with ice cream I hope!
