As I am sure you are painfully aware.
I do so hope your Monday was one of the better ones.
I know for a fact that a lot of people had a rough Monday.
But you know. On those rough days...
God still looks out for us.
He really does.
He makes sure we don't forget about him.
And that is a sure sign of his love.
For example...
Today I had a rough start at school.
I couldn't breath all of a sudden. It was weird.
And I called the office to see if our sub nurse was in.
Ended up sitting in an ambulance talking to a paramedic.
Like.
It was a ROUGH morning.
But God gave me wonderful bosses.
Just amazing bosses.
And they all looked out for me.
Then my students...
I have these two rays of sunshine in my sixth grade class.
And I had one come up to me and go, "Miss [insert my last name], I know you are leaving, but can I still have my hug?" And so I gave her her hug. Then I have another student, a sixth grader. She has to take this special ramp down the stairs, and when it stopped she skipped over to me and gave me the biggest hug, and says, "I am watching out for you!" And you know... I think in her own special way she is.
God has blessed me beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.
Do I get lonely?
Oh gosh yes.
Do I get overwhelmed?
Also. Very much.
But you know what?
Through it all.
God is right there with me.
And you know... it really does help to talk to him.
He takes all my worries, cares, and everything.
I don't have to carry it.
Today, the highschool science teacher told one of my boy students to carry my stuff up. And though I could have easily carried it myself, it was nice... not to have to lug that bag up the stairs with feeling how I was.
But here is the nice thing. God will lug all your problems no matter how you are feeling. Whether you are having a good day or bad day. All you have to do is have Faith in God. That is it. Simple as that. Which, ironically, is what makes it so hard....
But through it all, God makes sure I have little rays of sunshine throughout the day.
He is so good to me.
I wish you all the best.
