In two days.
Let's just say.
This week has been JAM PACKED.
So full.
So fun!
It has been fun.
I feel like after surviving all of that, I can do anything.
THURSDAY:
We had two Christmas parties.
During my second hour RIGHT BEFORE the party, the principal walks in with a laptop.
That means an observation.
I think he just wanted the food.
So he ended up joining our review game, and then our party.
It was fun.
Then the seventh graders gave me an asthma attack with cologne.
That was fun too, and then we had an assembly!
FRIDAY:
Three parties, one "come to Jesus" meeting, one field trip.
By the end of the school day I was on a sugar rush.
And when I am like that my lisp I work so hard to hide was showing. I was trying to say "sit in Shawn's seat" and it came out as "shit in shawn's sheet."
My face turned SO red.
The kids all laughed.
I was laughing, but boy I was SO embarressed.
It was just a day for that word.
Cause.
In eighth grade some kids were telling me about this phrase I told them to help them remember the pH scale.
"That is so basic it's a 14 on the pH scale."
So someone took a selfie with a starbucks coffee with that line. She was so proud cause everyone was askign her what it meant, and she got to tell them.
I told them I had only half a cup of coffee and this kid goes, "HOLY Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmoly" Cause he was thinking so hard how to get out of that one, I lost it. I told him that was best save I had ever seen. But gosh. That was the most dramatic save.
Then I had to stage manage.
It was a lot of fun.
I love stage managing.
I also had to dance.
I am not dancing anymore I think.
Not on stage.
First off that dance was way above me.
I didn't give myself enough time to prepare and it was just a mess. And I felt horrible because I basically butchered the choreography cause I had to make some stuff up.
Then during my fuette turns I totally wiped out.
Everyone thought it was part of the show.
At that point I realized that I couldn't breathe.
Well after my dance I had to setup for the next one and I was trying not breath too hard so they couldn't hear me.
Then I was wheezing so bad.
But overall it was SUPER smooth.
We only had one little hiccup and the director had ABSOLUTELY no idea it was happening cause I took care of it.
Gosh.
I love doing that!
I even got to do the introduction. That was awkward.
I am an awkward human being.
Which is fine.
So now I really have to write up my other two finals. Now that I have put them off all day and just watched two movies!
Have a good night! Stay warm! (It's snowing and is beautiful!)
